Privacy Policy

Fuelit (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Sutton Automation LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Fuelit iOS application (the “App”).

By using Fuelit, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. You may sign up using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email and password. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

Profile & Dietary Preferences

During onboarding, you provide information including age, sex, height, weight, activity level, dietary goals, goal type and pace, food allergies, ingredient exclusions, and taste preferences. This data is used to generate personalized meal plans.

Health Data (HealthKit)

With your explicit permission, we read weight data from Apple HealthKit. HealthKit access is entirely optional. We access HealthKit data in read-only mode and never write data to HealthKit. HealthKit data is never stored in iCloud, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties.

Meal Plan & Food Log Data

We store your generated meal plans, recipes, daily food logs, and barcode scan results in our backend database to provide the core functionality of the App.

Subscription Data

Subscription status and purchase history are managed by RevenueCat and Apple. We receive subscription status information to determine feature access but do not process or store payment details directly.

Usage Data

We use Vercel Analytics on our website, which collects anonymous usage data without cookies and without collecting personal information.

We use your information to:

• Generate personalized weekly meal plans using AI
• Track your daily nutrition intake and progress toward your goals
• Manage your subscription and feature access
• Improve the App and develop new features

Meal plans are generated by Anthropic’s Claude AI via secure server-side functions. To generate your meal plan, we send your dietary profile to the AI, including macro targets, dietary preferences, allergies, and restrictions. We do not send personally identifiable information such as your name or email address to the AI.

AI-generated meal plans and recipes are nutritional suggestions and do not constitute medical or dietary advice.

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — backend database and authentication. Stores your account and app data.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI meal plan generation. Receives dietary profile data only, no personally identifiable information.
• RevenueCat — subscription management. Receives an anonymous app user identifier.
• USDA FoodData Central — food nutrition data lookups. No personal data is sent.
• Open Food Facts — barcode product lookups. No personal data is sent.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication and App Store subscription billing.
• Google — Google Sign-In authentication.
• Vercel — website hosting and anonymous analytics.

Each third-party service is required to protect your data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.

Your data is stored on Supabase, a cloud-hosted PostgreSQL database. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. We use JWT-based authentication to protect access to your account.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings
• Opt out of anonymous website analytics

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems. HealthKit data is accessed in read-only mode during your session and is not persisted in our backend.

Fuelit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
